In England this is part of a rhyme traditionally recited for Bonfire Night, on November 5th. This is the anniversary of the failed attempt by Guy Fawkes and his men to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. Today we celebrate this occasion by lighting bonfires, and some people also have firework displays.
This year, it’s also publication day for my fourth and final book in the Hollyhock Farm series. This book is DJ Callum Preston’s story. He’s Zak’s best friend from Second Chances at Hollyhock Farm. We’re also introduced to Tasha Dodds, the assistant to a spoilt (in private), yet charming (in public) A-lister actor, Riley Sharpe. They are on the island to finish recording a TV series and need to ask for Callum’s help. They also end up coming to his grandfather’s surprise 80th birthday party.
Lots of twists and turns, romance, shocks and fun AND the book is available for pre-order right now.
